Website chat (AI features)

A chat assistant on your website that answers questions from your own information and takes details for you.

1. Visitors tap Ask Sophie (you choose the name) and ask away.

Setting it up

  1. 1Admin → Website & messages → AI features → Website chat.
  2. 2Turn on Website chat assistant. Then, under Name and welcome, choose its name (a first name shows as “Ask {name}”, anything else as “Ask us”) and write a welcome message. Tap Save. Your website must be switched on too, or the chat won’t appear.
  3. 3Try it on your website.

Your own answers

  1. 1Under Your own answers, tap Add an answer. Type a question visitors often ask (like parking, payment or what to bring) and your answer. Add up to 30, then tap Save answers.
  2. 2The assistant uses your answers first, in your words. Medical questions still go to your team, whatever your answers say.

Drafting answers with AI

Tap Write answers with AI: it drafts questions and answers from your services, prices, opening hours and address. Edit or remove any, then Save answers. Write with AI beside the Welcome message writes that too. Each draft uses one AI write from your monthly allowance.

Messages from the chat

When a visitor leaves their name and details in the chat, the conversation arrives in your Messages so you can reply.

What it knows

It uses your own answers first, then what’s on your website and in your booking settings: treatments with today’s prices, options and offers, minimum ages, gift cards (the amounts, and a Buy a gift card button that opens your basket, how to use one, and to get in touch to check what’s left on one), how clients pay and any deposit (from Admin → Business → Payments), changing or cancelling with your rules and policy, consent forms, regular appointments, how far ahead clients can book, opening hours, address, news, social links, how to book and who’s on your team (if you show them).

What it doesn’t do

It never gives medical advice: health questions are passed to your team. It doesn’t look up a client’s booking or a gift card’s balance: it asks them to get in touch. Chats aren’t saved; details visitors leave arrive in Messages.

Coming soon

An AI receptionist that answers calls and messages and books appointments. See it under AI features → Receptionist.
